Completed one tiny type set... - Korean 1/2 won 1905,6

Struck for only two years, this half won is an interesting coin as it was struck in Osaka Mint, Japan for just two years. Finding them in good condition can be a bit difficult and rather pricey. The price has been going up quite rapidly and I might as well finish what I can. Both are problematic coin as one is cleaned and the other is damaged but nevertheless, I'm happy with them.

The rest of the early Korean coinage can be seen here: http://www.gxseries.com/numis/koreatype/koreatype.htm

Congrats on the set completion. I assume that damage is a cut to test purity/authenticity?

acanthite: yes I presume that the damage was done for silver test as these were counterfeited (and still is) It's a real shame.

Cheryl: Please feel free to check my collection for any referencing although my pictures aren't that helpful at times.
