Do I or Don't I ???

I recently aquired a 1999W George Washington Proof commemorative in it's Mint display case for WAY below what they are selling for on Ebay.

My question is do I send it out to NGC or PCGS for grading or not. I know everyone will have a different opinion, but that is what I am looking for.

The coin will go up for resale in the near future, I will not be holding on to it as I am not a big commemoratives collector.

Based on the few that have sold on eBay, it appears that a PCGS PR69 DCAM will sell for around $100 more than ungraded, so I would say it could be a good idea to have it graded, as long as you don't see any reason why it wouldn't come back a very high grade. If there is even a single flaw that you can see, I wouldn't bother. Can you post a picture for us?

That is why I might have it graded. I can see no problems on the coin at all, but I am not a great grader when you come to extremely high grade coins.

I will attempt a photo, but have had trouble in the past resizing a photo so that it could be attached.

If you want to email the picture to me, I could put it on my image hoster and paste the link into CT.

I would agree - if you plan to sell the coin and think it will make PF69 DCAM - then have it slabbed.
