The good old mint just ceases to amaze me with how bad a business can be and still survive. Since I hadn't received my ASE proof that I have on subscription since 1/10 I decided to call the mint to find out the problem.
After about a 10 minute wait I finally get the service dept. She tells me it was shipped on 1/10 and when I tell her I haven't received it she then tells me the subscription was placed on 1/10. I ask why they haven't shipped the subscription order since the website shows they are available? She then proceeds to tell me I won't get one this year. When I ask why, she states, "
Since they were already made when you placed your order/subscription you have to wait until 2009 before you will receive one".

??!!!??? I give up!!!
She asked if I wanted to order one and I told her to just forget it. It's becoming much easier to get them on the secondary market than to purchase them directly from the mint. I then cancelled all of my subscriptions with the mint and decided I would rather pay more and get them from a dealer who actually appreciates and wants my business.
