Cool

Maaan, sweet cent Jack. I am way over due in posting a few Lincolns, so here is my new 26 S, anyone think it's an XF? Also, check out that die crack on the right wheat. Unfortunatly, looks like Abe cut himself shaving a bit.

The 35-D is cool, yeah, it is minted over a wire or staple or something, in hand, it is much more obvious the O in One is struck over the wire.

Phoenix....XF? nahhhhh, but nice. How far are you from a full set now? Cool !!

Congrats...you've probably found a " BIE" cent. Very common in the 50's, BIE cents are caused by die breaks in the Liberty area...most of the time, between the B and the E. Make sure it is not damage tho, hard to tell from pic....

There are folks dedicated to these. They are fun to spot and collect, and MOST do not carry any premium. They are great to cherrypick at shows if your a serious collector !!

1984 DDO #1, double die........look at the ear lobe
worth quite a premium in any grade, and a whole lot in uncirc red gem, prone to spotting, nice ones can get outright expensive !!

It has a doubled ear. It almost looks like he has two ear lobes. It's worth about 1000x more than a regular 1984 Lincoln of the same grade. Some people really like collected error coins. Myself... they are cool but I don't look for them hard enough. I do have a clipped planchet, from what I see it looks genuine, but I cant post any pics because I let a friend use my camera, still waiting to get it back... I'd like to post the pic to see what all you guys think about it.
