Very common in the 50's, BIE cents are caused by die breaks in the Liberty area...most of the time, between the B and the E. Make sure it is not damage tho, hard to tell from pic.... There are folks dedicated to these. They are fun to spot and collect, and MOST do not carry any premium. It almost looks like he has two ear lobes. It's worth about 1000x more than a regular 1984 Lincoln of the same grade. Some people really like collected error coins. Myself... they are cool but I don't look for them hard enough. I do have a clipped planchet, from what I see it looks genuine, but I cant post any pics because I let a friend use my camera, still waiting to get it back...
