    US Monetary Exchange

The Unites States Monetary Exchange ( not affiliated w/ the US gov't) had an add in the newspaper today for $2 bills at face value. The bills are UNC and "banded" in packs of five. Sounds like a good deal till you read the fine print; There is a "standard" $9 processing fee PLUS shipping and handeling charge per book of 5.

Then you can also get a new California state quarter for "free" by sending in 3 first class postage stamps.

My thinking is that they get you to pay $10 for the $2 bills, plus $9 processing fee, then S&H costs, then use your 3 stamps to mail you the money.

I gotta come up with a racket like this !!!!

It is exactly this type of business that causes some of us to stay the course.
I spend a great deal of my time educating others on where to find the good sources.
This is the main reason that I volunteer my services here on CoinTalk.

I'd say about 50 cents apiece retail, and 20 cents apiece wholesale. Or you can spend them for 25 cents apiece.
