Completed my Lincoln cent collection!

This week, I received the final Lincoln cent to complete a set, a 1914-D.
(The scratch above Lincoln's eye is in the holder, not on the coin).

Thanks to huntsman53 for letting me know about this coin. I looked at hundreds of them before I found this one.

I'll be upgrading some of the lower grade cents, but I now have all of them from 1909-2007.

Thanks! It'll take me a while to image the whole set, but I'll have to do it anyway for insurance documentation. I'll definitely post a link here, when I have it.

Very cool. Is the collection sporting a 1909-S V.D.B.?

I'd love to see some pictures also. What grade are you shooting for? I'm trying to get all my collections in MS65 (nickels/dimes at the moment).

I do have a 1909S-VDB (see attached) in MS64 RB. I'm hoping to have all the coins in MS60 or higher. For the key dates, I've gone for higher grades. My collection needs a lot of upgrading in the pre-1930 issues so I still have plenty to work towards.

One nice coin. If that is any indication of the rest of your set, it looks like it is my dream set.

Great accomplishment.

I have at least one example of every year and mint (including a 1922 No D) but they're not all as nice as the key dates.

I wish that were true! I've focused on the key dates. Pretty much everything I have 1935 and later is mint state, but the earlier dates are lower grade and will need upgrading as I find them.

Yes, I do. See the "Show me your WOODYS" thread.

Of course, that reflects what it looks like, not how I felt about finding it.

(I couldn't resist either).

Congratulations! Do you have the popular varieties too or are you saving that for after your upgrades?
