1796 Liberty Cap cent: S-82,83 Variety? help from the experts please

Hello,
Here i have a 1796 Liberty cap cent. I have been trying to attribute this coin with the help of Breens book. So far i have tentatively narrowed it down to Sheldon varieties 82 or 83, and that was quite a task! The differences, at least to me, are so minute. Can i please ask one of the large cent experts in the forum to please confirm this.
I would also like to have your opinions on its net grade. The coin is dark brown in color. No porosity is apparent, but it does have some marks, more noticeably on the face.
Thank you very much for your help.
Eduard
