Cool Look at these...

Hey guys, here are some of my latest purchases. 39 S that I purchased awhile back that I posted, got it today, some of my pics, and also a 1942 P that really turned out to be better than I expected. The 39 S is really dripping with luster, I'd say it is a MS-65 R, good chance at a 66? I'll let you guys be the judge. The 42 I'd say is a MS-64 R. I experimented with some ways with taking pics, let me know what you guys think, and which pics you like best. Also, is it just me or is that 39 S just dripping luster? Wow, I think it looks great. Tell me what y'all think! Here they are:

Nice looking coins. But I like the first set of pictures the best. Looks more natural. The second set gives me the impression that flaws could be hiding in the pic.

Nice coins and nice pictures. However, I think you have your grades backwards. I think the 42- looks better than the 39-S.

Both are really nice coins. I like the first photos better than the redder ones. The redder ones look like you're trying to manipulate the photos before you list them on line. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Either picture would be a good representation for an on line auction. There aren't many issues with these coins to hide. Good buys.

Thanks for the comments!

Jack: With the last pic, I used no lighting other than the one on my ceiling, and no flash at all. Took a VERY steady hand, lol.

Pocket Change: Lol, thanks.

RLM: Really? The 39 S looks a lot better in hand actually, the pics just locked in on some of those hits. But you are probably right. The luster on the 39 S is what really caught my eye with it, superb eye appeal IMHO. Thanks!

Spock: Thanks!

mralexanderb: Thanks for your input man! I prefer the first set myself, seems more honest IMHO, except nothing really to hide with these coins, except for a few dings IMO. But, those dings can mean a lot sometimes IMO. Thanks!

bqcoins: Thanks man!

Thanks for all the comments and help, really appreciate them. More to come hopefully. Thanks!

Beautiful coins and nice shots of them. I know I couldn't hold the camera steady enough to do that in those lighting conditions. I particularly like the last shot, it really shows how pretty the coin is.
