The Red Book contains all the official info about US coins, dates, mints, mintage numbers, weights, sizes etc. It also contains what they call retail values for the coins. Problem is, the values listed are so inaccurate they are worthless.

The Blue Book does not contain as much info about the coins as the Red Book does. And it is supposed to contain the values that dealers will pay for coins. But those values are so inaccurate they are worthless as well. Don't ever buy a Blue Book.

The Red Book is like the bible for collectors of US coins. Every collector needs one. Just don't pay any attention to the values listed.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I've been searching for podcasts on iTunes and came up with nothing.

    Thank you.

If there are any more podcasts out there, please recommend them.
