Nifty piece, Warwickshire 220 (plain edge) or 220a (milled edge). Both are common.
This piece was issued by Lutyche and the reverse is the die used on his personal token (War 219). The War 220 was apparently issued as a general circulation coin and no as an advertising piece or collector piece. The 220 seems to always come very thin. I double checked my piece and it is also very thin. You are also right that most of the loss of detail is from the thinness of the planchet and not from wear.
