S-mint ATB sets?

Since the 2012 and subsequent mint sets don't contain the San Fran' UNC ATB quarters, and they were only offered from the mint in rolls and bags, have you seen anyone (aftermarket) putting these together in 5-coin pseudo "souvenir sets" for those of us who want just one of each example without having to buy a roll or bag?

You can buy P, D, and S coins from most LCS or on line dealers. You can buy the silver S coins as well if wanted. Most major dealers will have them individually or sometimes in sets.

Yes, I've seen the singles in my LCS' but haven't seen any 5-coin year sets. I noticed that JP's is selling the 5-quarter plastic holders so I was just wondering if anyone had taken the initiative and started putting together sets for sale (or if there was something more "professional"-looking than a generic plastic display holder). I can buy the holders and put the sets together myself but was hoping to find something a little "nicer". :)

The mint has each quarter as a P, D, S set for $9.95

I just looked at that and it is the Proof-S, not the Unc-S in the PDS set.

Not to get off the original topic of the thread but this type of marketing is one of my pet peeves. To get the S-mint Unc from the mint, you have to order a bag or a roll. While the roll is only $17, by the time you buy all 5, you've spent nearly $100. And for someone like me who simply wants a single PDS example of all uncirculated issues, I don't want to purchase a roll for nearly double face value to pull one coin out and then spend or try to sell the rest.

They should just include these in the yearly mint sets along with the rest of the P and D coins. And they can't use the excuse that "technically, the S-mint are not circulating coins" because the halves and dollars are also NIFC but they are included. This is simply a means for the mint to force anyone who wants a single UNC example of all three mints to purchase MULTIPLE products to keep their collections current.

Sorry, stepping off soap box. I feel better now. :)

I feel the same. They should sell all the business strikes quarters and the Proof in a set each year.
