new plan for 2008

i am thinking of buying 2008 alaska bear and hawaii king statehood quarters. 2008 jackson's and van buren's liberty. and for 2009 lincoln cent.

p.s. i might buy 2007 10th anniversary platinum 1/2 oz proof and reverse proof. this will be my first platinum coin if i really buy it. but i can also use this money to buy american eagle (w) uncirculated gold instead.

currently bought a lot of 2007 five pc statehood proof and silver proof set. don;t ask me why?. i just like it.

To be more frugal than I have been the last six months. Would like to get the 1999 silver proof set but it costs so much. That is my main goal and a few silver eagles to go with the few that I hae

Heres mine

1) Get roll of each state quarters in 2008

2) Get a 2008 Silver Eagle

3) Work on type set.

4) Help get over my obsession with coins.

Scrap number 4 on your list. You'd spend more money on therapy than you would on coins!

GO WITH THE FLOW!

Organize and photograph my coins and banknotes. I think I'll spend most of 2008 on that project.

there were be many coins to choose from for this coming x'mas session. either to keep it or to give away as a gift. those last chance offered from the mint can be a good buy.

My Goals

My goals will be buying since I do not plan on selling (at least for a long time).

I want to finish my Barber Dime and Capped Bust Half Dime sets as well as make progress on my Seated Liberty Half Dime set. As always, I may add other items that I may stumble upon (that are nice) but I want to remain focused on my main sets.

Sell the coins I need to sell after I learn to photograph properly. Use that money to finish my buffalo nickel set (Got my xmas present, 1917-D buffalo AU).
Also Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!!!

my new years goal is i will not spend money on coins i spent more than 25k this year and that has made me a lil worried
You could have spent that much on a boat or a car....and lost a whole lot of money on resale. I bet you'll come out way ahead on the coins.

As for my coin related resolutions for 09, I guess I'd like to finally finish my Morgan set. It's been sittling idle with not many to go for too long while I've been interested in other sets. It'll be nice to see that set done after so many years.
