Forum has Link with VIRUS, Please read

Hey all, yesterday I was going through the posts and I clicked on a pic and the link was to another site, well my computer started acting wierd and I have a bad virus and I know it is from the link, The only problem is I don't remember which on eit was , I know for sure though that it is not a cointalk link , the link directs you to a picture on another site. I'm going to go into my history and see if I can find it. has anyone else been infected?

Microsoft recently published a security alert on a new "hole" in all windows products that is now being exploited. As simple as I can put it, this new attack exploits the tiny program that turns the machine code of .jpg files into the image you see on your computer monitor. There are patches available at:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

as this problem affects other microsoft programs such as Microsoft Office, Visio, etc. you will aslo need to get another patch at:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/of...e/default.aspx

If you don't already visit these two sites regularly (this does not apply to you Apple folks) the I VERY HIGHLY recommend you make it part of your computer routine (once a week). Its a bit of headache, but then, so is losing all your computer files
