Token

I was just going through some penny rolls and found what looks like a token from an old mint set. It has a scale at the top and a key at the bottom. There are also 13 stars across the middle. Around the top of this design it says Treasury. At the bottom it says United States Mint. On the other side of the token at the top it says Uncirculated. In the middle it has a large "D". At the bottom it says Denver. It has no cent value on it. I am assuming it is a token from an old mint set. What do you think? Oh the token has a copper color. No pics yet.

does this help

Quote:
This modern token accompanies all Mint sets issues from sometimes in the 1980's to the present. A mint set consists of two packages, one with the current coins from the Philadelphia Mint and one with the current coins from the Denver Mint. There is one of these tokens in each package. The date "1789" is year when the U.S. Treasury was established, not the date the token was minted.
read its worth about 10.00
