I said something about a clothlike texture on the edge of the Adams dollar, well I found one that just started on ebay. What do you think about it?

Interesting to say the least

looks like something scraped the edge of the coin.

He said those are the same on all of them. Like a gouge in the edge die.
Oh! THAT'S what you were talking about...In one box I was opening, almost 1/3 of the coins were like that...I think i still have them actually.....I hope the mint is changing how they do the edge lettering because the ones with this finish are MUCH easier to read......
not an error imo, someone is getting fleeced

It would scare meOriginally Posted by hamman88
I am wondering why some of the folks on here buy huge amounts of the president dollars. Just me but I dont think they are all that fine of a coin. I mean, take the Adams coin, he looks like a mongoloid. Is it to get, by chance, an error coin that would make up the amount you paid?
the comments were all positive and that does look like a genuine error...kinda like touching nail polish before its dry..lol
That doesn't look like much of anything to me. Has anyone found any significant errors or oddities with the new JA President coins?
