Peru 1924 Un Sol, Philadelphia struck

I can't find the mintage for the Peru 1924 Sol from Philadelphia. My 2004 krause book has the mintage for the 1924 Sol that was struck in Lima, but it is blank where the mintages for the philadelphia coins should be. They don't both have the same mintage, do they? Does anyone know the mintage of this coin?

Thanks
rexesq

Hi, I'm having the same problem with an 1869 sol. I'm in Santiago now and don't have any coin books with me. Could you take a quick look in your guide to see how many 1869 sols were minted and if it is a low mintage? Also, what might ones in F and VF condition be worth? I may be able to find out the answer to your question from a South American collector down here! Also, my friend speaks Spanish and may be able to get info from Spanish language websites from Peru.

I wish I could help you, but the only book I have only goes back to 1901. Sorry.

The mintage for all 1924 Peruvian sols is 3,113,000, that includes those struck in Philly. And even though all coins from both mints have the Lima mint mark, the Philly coins can be distinguished because the letters of the legends are smaller than those actually struck in Lima.

As for the 1869 sol, there are many varieties, 3 main ones. They are all worth about the same, $6 - $7 in F VF and $30 - $40 in Unc.

I know this is off-topic, but while we're at it...do you happen to know the mintage of the 1891 straits settlements 10 cents ?
