How do you report fraud?

How do you report fraud on ebay.

The mint does not make silver nickels, this is a flat out lie! How does one report this to ebay to have the auction pulled?

Thanks all. I reported it as well. I did notice that this seller has only one feedback. I hope he just made a honest mistake?

Yes, only one feedback, and it was for the sale of a roll of these "silver" nickels.

eBay's reply, I love the fact that they will NOT let me know about the result, due to privacy concerns!

" Thank you for writing eBay's SafeHarbor Department about a listing or
seller you would like us to investigate for fraudulent activity. We are
concerned about this type of activity and want to assure you that we
will review your report as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

Due to privacy concerns, we will not keep you informed about the status
of our investigation. While you will only receive this acknowledgement
of the receipt of your report, please be assured that we will thoroughly
review the situation. "

Almost a waste of time. I've had some bad episodes with ebay sellers and basically so what. With the millions of sellers and millions and millions of items, ebay really doesn't care about one small lie or fraud. They will send you a nice, soothing reply though.

Ah...thanks for pointing that out Frank.
I missed it the first time through looking at the auction.

This is from the (http://www.coinvaultbox.com/jefferson06.asp) World Reserve Monetary Exchange

World Reserve EXCLUSIVE just for you:
  • You cannot find these special twenty-five coin rolls at the U.S. Mint, Federal Reserve, or any local bank ... only at the World Reserve.
  • You're guaranteed to get two sealed vault boxes with Jeffersons from the Philadelphia Mint and Denver Mint.
  • Each sealed vault box contains 20 rolls of the new Jeffersons in Brilliant, uncirculated condition ... 500 coins in each vault box!
  • These 'bricks' are heavier than a solid bar of .999 pure silver.
  • Uncirculated coins are the only ones likely to increase most in value.
  • VERY limited quantities available of these extremely hard to find Jeffersons. Get yours today before the vaults are emptied.
1 Sealed Vault Box of 500
Jefferson Looking Forward - Denver Mint Mark
1 Sealed Vault Box of 500
Jefferson Looking Forward - Philadelphia Mint Mark

1,000 Coins

As you can see the marketing tactics used to sell these is a little questionable. The guy on ebay may have misunderstood what he bought? Now there should be no misunderstanding if he really looks into it.
