Here's PMG's only note to achieve a 70 grade out 300,000 they had graded by the time this came around (2009). I think it says something about the grading standards of CEC vs PMG.

Well for one thing, they all are starting with an $18 or $22 dollar bid. Click here to enlarge

I should have taken pics of some of the coins at a local flea market last year. They were are "graded" and slabbed. The grading company was called CCCC or something like that. All the coins were just older non key coins but had grades of MS67 or higher and were "bargain" priced at $50 each.

The seller had a different story for each potential buyer ie. it was from his grandfather's estate; he bought them at a big auction; he had them certified years ago....

    He was full of it.

I never trust any other grading companies than those everyone readily knows about. The offshoots in paper such as CEC won't even have me look twice at them.
