Just wondering, did anyone know these were coming out today? Great looking coin, I wish they were smaller and I wish they were gold, even tho' I can only afford brass. Click here to enlarge There's other new ones on his site too. Click here to enlarge

Oh boy... here we go again. Dang it, I love DC's coins, and this one's a beauty. Struck over a genuine bust half.. amazing.

Yeah, I didn't buy one yet but I bought a couple other coins. I picked up one of these 1/4 ouncers just to have, it helps to quell the urge to spend money I don't have. Click here to enlarge

I'll buy mine when it's toned from a sleeve after 20 years, when I can call it a counterfeit.

That just kills me that he can overstrike a real piece of history. if it were a kenady half, I would have nothing to say, but this, it is almost sickening.

Maybe next he will "overstrike" some chain cents and "improve" them.

And I'm sure many will agree with you. I'm picturing members of the BHNC holding an emergency meeting as we speak.

Personally, I like his work and what he does even though I do not own his peices. But I would like to buy some in the near future.

Absolutely you can have your own opinion. I just mean here we go again because every time the subject of Daniel Carr comes up the word counterfeiter comes up. Actually he mints "fantasy coins" but I don't expect anyone to agree with me. Life is too short to get into these internet wrestling matches we have on here. You have your opinion and I have mine, I will leave it at that. Click here to enlarge
