Thread: Please help identify Chinese silver coin/medallion?

Hello folks,

New user here. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to share any knowledge on what this coin/medallion might be. I believe it is Chinese, from the shape of the country on the back of the coin. I'm sure it is silver but as for what exactly it is or what its value might be, I am not sure. Thank you in advance!

This is a medal commemorating the 100th birthday of Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China.

It was minted in Taiwan and dated October 31, 1986 (75th year of the Republic).

The very stylized Chinese character in the middle of the map of China is shou (壽) meaning "longevity".
