Well, it's my experince that if money is no problem, it isn't hard to find the coins you want.
But if you, like me, are on a budget, then it's a bit more difficult to find nice specimens within your means.
With that in mind, I'd say the hardest coin for me to find in MS condition at a price I could afford was a 1947 Canada dollar.
I'm also working on a Canadian type set and the prices of Victorian silver in MS is astronomical, to I may have to set my goal a bit lower to AU (still expensive!)
Same for me, I haven't had trouble finding the coins that I want. I have trouble affording the coins that I want!

1974-s penny. Took me 2 yaers of roll searching and I finaly found on last weekend.
Does anyone remember the Lincoln 1954S San Jose? It was
diecrack or break from the tail of the 5 and connecting
to the S. It looked like a " J." I still have not found one.![]()

I don't see anything on that 56-d cent. I like varieties you can actually see like a 1955 DD cent or a 42/41 dime.
