Pet Peeves in the world of ebay sellers and coins?

So maybe you don't have any pet peeves when it comes to ebay but I have a couple at least. One of my biggest pet peeves about ebay is sellers doing pre-sales, it bugs me to no end but I live with it. What is it that bugs you about some sellers on ebay? Anyone? Click here to enlarge

Sending me a message asking if I will ship to such and such a country & the auction clearly states no international shipping.

Oh yeah, and satellite photo of a coin.

Having a reserve. What's the point of them? If you're not going to sell a coin for less than a certain amount, why not start the bidding at that amount?

You wouldn't be talking about the SF ASE sets being offered at 33% over mint prices, would you? At least its not as bad as it was with the Anniversary sets. Click here to enlarge

Sellers who spend two-thirds of their listing laying down the law to buyers about how's it going to be. "You must do this", "You must do that", "Don't ask me to ...", etc.

Mixing and/or combining "uncirculated" and "proof" in the same description. It is even worse when you throw in "specimen" to the mix. This problem is particularly acute in looking at Canadian coins and sets. All three methods of manufacture are distinct.

-Sellers who don't describe the coin's history or condition but instead just blather on about payment and shipping.

-Sellers who sell cleaned coins and neglect to tell you about the cleaning. Especially aggravating when you can't tell it's been cleaned from the photo.

-Sellers who label everything as a "MS AU BU SUPER STUNNER WOW" even if it's in horrible shape.

-SELLERS WHO TYPE THEIR DESCRIPTIONS IN GIGANTIC ALL BOLD-ITALIC-UNDERLINED-RED CAPS. Seriously, I have difficulty reading block after block of capslocked description, so all my mind processes after a few lines is incoherent yelling. "THIS IS A BLAH ALBAAH RAWR AABLAOEEUOE FIAAOEROOAF LUEORBAAEEU." That's all I take away from your listing if you capslock everything.

Hmmm...I really don't like those mass auctions of "ONE PENNY" starting at .99 and with only pickup available. Now I can never search for cheap lincolns anymore on ebay.

Starting an auction at a price, having a reserve, or using Buy It Now are basically the same thing, and they all bother me equally. I feel that those who choose to sell on Ebay should just let the market dictate the price. I get tired of coming across a coin that I am interested in only to look at the Buy It Now price and say, "You Can't Be Serious!!"

I also hate how sellers throw around words like Choice and Brilliant. Or when they offer a raw coin and state their opinion as a numerical mint state grade (MS6#). If the coin is not in a slab, then I am not interested in seller opinions that get so specific.

Buyers who send me a message asking what the lowest price I will accept rather than simply placing an offer on my BIN or Best Offer listings.

    - "Look at the picture and judge the condition for yourself" seriously how do we know if the image was juiced or not.

    - Juiced images of coins.

    - Sellers giving a sob story in their item description. Not trying to be mean, but I want to read about the item I'm buying. Not their family history.

Sorry dimeguy - I fixed my auctions to show both sides.

My buyer issues: Micro pictures, no pictures, blurry pictures, and the bane of my existance, FILE PHOTOS! I especially like the file photo coins that are perfect but the description says 'may have spotting or other defects.' Oh, and jacked-up slabs.

I don't have an issue with 'no refunds' as the e-Bay policy is pretty good for buyers - as long as there are good pics and/or the coin is slabbed. I'm sure some items get returned for legitimate reasons, but also some for 'I was drunk when I bid on that' or other less than legitimate reasons.

[shameless plug] I'm selling 12 Ikes right now [/shameless plug] with no return, mainly because I didn't notice that that was the default until listing most of them, but also because all mine are PCGS slabbed with links to almost 2MB pictures front and back. I can't even see the whole coin on a 22 inch monitor. If that's not good enough, I'm not sure what is. These are low dollar coins, not gold doubloons.
