I need some information on spotty proof in PCGS holder

    Hey everyone,

I bought one of the 25th anniversary ASE sets about 3 or 4 months ago. All was fine but now the proof has spots on it. All of them are in PCGS holders. To be honest, I really don't want a spotty proof. Won't PCGS warranty the coin(s)? Of course I bought them off Ebay. What are my options with this one??

    The dreaded milk spots.

I would call PCGS customer service and ask how to proceed. I would expect they will direct you to return the coins under the spot review.

In this case I suspect you will be thankful you purchased this coin in a slab. You'd have no recourse if raw.

    Good luck...Mike
