Today I picked up a seated liberty quarter 1853 with rays on reverse no motto. The page in the dansco says 1835 to 1865 no motto there are two 1853 quarters one with rays and one with no rays and both have no motto.Is there any one here that can tell me if it makes a difference one way or the other witch one should fill the hole I do like the one with rays over the no rays what is your opinion ?
