Russia "Strategic Rocket Forces" 3 coin set
Anyone know if PCGS will grade this 3 coin, 1 rouble silver commemorative set? They were issued by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
I'm not at all familiar with PCGS and their standards for foreign coins, and I cannot find a single graded coin from this set anywhere.

Here's a link - kinda cold-war-ish.
I doubt we would see anything like this on our coins...
Collector of IL/RU/US/DE
Here is a slabbed similar coin, can't think of a reason why wouldn't a TPG slab more of them.
Guess that depends on which country you are from. These are the last commems issued by the US for example:

Thanks - very nice coin!
I've read that NGC tends to slab more foreign coins than PCGS, although I'm not sure why this would be, if true.
PS: Christian you were posting while I was typing. I have the Infantry Soldier coins, but not the others. I thought the Army one was kinda weak. The obverses of the dollar and the half I was not too impressed with ('service in peace' ??? how about 'we kicked your nazi a$$', or 'Europe - you owe us - twice')? I gotta say the reverse of the half is excellent and the dollar pretty good. The $5 I like both sides of but could not afford. I will eventually get the MOH.

Ah, I primarily collect our (euro) coins but will get US silver dollars or clad halfs when I find the design or theme interesting. But I "stopped" (or rather interrupted) after the 2009 issues; may resume collecting them at a later stage. As for PCGS grading non-US coins, I don't see a problem with that. Grading is not exactly popular here, but PCGS does have a presence in Europe for example (Paris) and elsewhere too - see http://www.pcgsglobal.com/ . NGC has offices in various countries too; whether they grade more or fewer pieces, I don't know. But since both are active outside the US as well, I assume that they will, in the US, grade such Russian commems as well.
