    The Green Death ....Help......

Some of my copper coins are suffering from the dreaded green death. Is there anyway to clean these coins or stop the green growing ??? I am new to collecting coins and I know you are not the clean them ever, just wondering if there is anything I can do. Thanks Click here to enlarge

unfortunately, very little will help and about all that you can hope for is to halt the corrosion process. A soak in olive oil will do about the most for them that can be done, but unfortunately, once the green starts, there's nothing to reverse it and little that will stop it

Copper coins are highly reactive to oils and humidity. Keeping them in a cool dry environment will help prevent future corrosion and damage

You can try to make it a bit better with Verdi-care. Do some research on it. It helps, but cannot cure it.
