My Mood:
Locate some coin dealers in your area. Get a 4X loop and ask to see several different coins from the same year. You will see many differences in quality from coin to coin. Better yet do some research on ASE's before investing monies because you can get taken if your not careful and well armed with knowledge.

Now the other road you can go down is purchasing graded ASE's, but that will cost a good bit more.

If you buy raw coins, sight unseen (like on-line), you are bound to be taken advantage of.

Good luck and I hope you find what you'd like to have. They are beautiful coins and I cherish mine and will keep them until I'm old and grey or dead.

hi. obviously the mint will be your first source for the new releases.you can also take a virtual tour on the site to learn more... if you have a coin club in your area there will surely be people there happy to educate you. the more you look at, the better you will be. check out different sites and photos vs prices before you buy. check out the american numismatic association site and coin world also. please read and get info before spending lots of $. the people here will be happy to share knowledge with you. my very best wishes to you....steve

Try a google or yahoo search for coin shows and type in your state. Don't know where you live but here in Illinois there are at least 4 coin shows a month. 3 are within 12 miles of my house. Best place to look at and buy or even sell coins.
