Thread: 1979 D SBA "Atypical Die Clash"

Just thought I would share with the community the status of a coin of mine. It was published on Mad Die Clashes

I often have a hard time interpreting die clashes, but not this one -- wow!

Thanks guys. Yeah its pretty easy to tell what that one is. I found it while searching 3 rolls of SBA's my wife grabbed at the bank that someone had just brought in.

By the way if anyone is interested in this coin Private Message me. For me the hunt is over once I find them with the kids. I do have paper work for ICG grading purposes that detail the error and ICG now regonize the disgination "Atypical Die Clash" from my understanding.

is it in a icg slab???

No I just received it back from Mad Die Clashes with the letter they stated it may grade MS and I have it packaged to send out to ICG but figured I would see what offers were out there first.
