Thread: 1978 Penny ( D? mint)

Hey all I know that this coin is pretty beat up but the mint mark is off. I can't tell if it's been double stamped or something else...

Looks normal for that year.

Looks like a worn punch. They replaced them in 1979 and again in 1981 (at least on SBAs), but I do not know if they also replaced them for other denominations.

PMD took a hit on the MM.
