    Oh, sorry, misread the title.
I actually scrolled through this thread looking for someone to do that! Lol

I also have a question, maybe the medal collectors can answer - How is purity determined? I've seen jetons listed as 2argent, 3argent, and so on... can someone explain the significance of this? I assume this is a reference to silver purity, but am interested in specifics.
All kidding aside, these are beautiful!

Hey Q, thanks for the link. Nice examples you have there. I don't have many early examples yet, they can be very difficult to find in higher grade.

They sure look great. Click here to enlarge But that Latin ... not that I am very good at it, but there sure are some interesting words, e.g. "oia" or "tot". Beats me. Assuming that the translations are OK, I still don't understand the second one: "Où il y en a trois, il y aura un quatrième". Where there are three, there will be a fourth one? Do you have any idea what that refers to?

Gaston, young brother of Louis XIII has been plotting against the king all his life. Most probably, as on other jetons of his, the latin legend has a double sense. But I didn't manage to find any clue on that one so far. Ideas welcome
