My Liverty Nickle

Recently, I bid on and won an 1886 'Liverty Nickle' on ebay for around $30. Needless to say, I found it by searching for 'nickle' and putting in key dates for my Liberty Nickel collection.

It has definitely seen better days, but for now, that spot has something in it. The moral of the story is: Be very creative when you search for coins on ebay.

What a hoot.

Me two.... also look for things that have been placed in the wrong catagories... I found a 1998 SAE in the toys catagory and snagged it for $1.25 plus a another $2 shipping....

Finally a good deal on ebay.
