I was just starting to wonder when they would suspend sales of the silver proofs again.
The melt value of the 2010 quarters set is within about $3 of the Mint's price today (and within $5 for the 2011 set).
I think they'll suspend within the next 24 hours if silver remains over $41/oz.
I read somewhere recently that they adjust PM coin pricing once a week.
It was either Wed or Thursday... Last week they had a rush on gold to beat the adjustment.

I hope not. I didn't have a chance to buy the silver proof set yet.
With current events I'm not surprised were having a surge in silver prices.
Doc which do see with a better outlook: Silver or some FRN's?

The mint raised their prices when silver hit $50/ozt. They better not raise it again for a while.
When silver hits about $44 the 2010 silver quarters set would be selling almost even with melt unless they raised the price from $39.95.
Last time I went to make a purchase of silver bullion coins I was told to bring an extra $1000. in case the spot price changed in the 10 minutes it took to get the cash from my bank and pay for the order at the other bank.
The person in charge didn't have a clue about precious metals, but my point is, up here in Canada, when purchasing from a bank, the price changes minute to minute and not locked in until you sign the purchase order and make immediate payment.
Anyone notice when they rised the price on the silver sets, they also rises the prices on their clad products? It's worse than APMEX! When silver goes up they're all over it, but when it goes down? They drag their feet! All of them are making a fortune on this BS!
Even the folks that's printing our inflation are rises their prices on collectables!

The last sales suspension was on Monday April 18th when silver topped $43.
Silver's over $42 this morning.
