    Got A New Coin

New coins have been rather slow coming.
Got this one today from Teletrade:

I've also been slowly picking up some Capped Bust half dime die marriages.
I'm going to need a microscope before I can take pictures of them.
Many of the diagnostics are small and almost disappear in grades below VF.

A beautiful selection Kanga. Clearly a superior coin, any thoughts on what kept it from a 64?

    Not sure.
The obverse looks VERY free of marks/dings/etc.

The reverse has a number of small marks/dings but the design is so busy they aren't noticeable.
The strike is a bit weak in areas.
And there's a strange area just outside his right calf. Doesn't look like it belongs and you have to hold the coin just right to see it.

    That's all I can see.

    Beautiful coin and display.

Easily an MS64, shot 5 on the right day.

Nice pickup Dave! I love the rim toning. It looks better than a 63 to me too.
