He might get a coin if he's dead in 2017, but with his wealth and government medical care, he may still be alive when he's 70. I don't like the idea of a james Buchanan doller either, but he was president. Presidential or otherwise. I'd like to see a coin take the place of the One Dollar bill and be widely accepted and used. Given the choice between 10 Sacs clinking in my pocket or 10 bills folded in my wallet, I think the coins are easier to deal with. It doesn't take many bills to make a wallet bulge uncomfortably.
