What is the BEST camera to photograph a coin?

I was going to ask this in the FAQ page... So I'll ask it here: What is the BEST camera to photograph a coin?

What do you use?

Depends on how much you want to spend. My other hobby if photgraphy, and i use a canon 20d with a 180mm macro lens and 500close-up lens attached. and with that you can have pictures like this. like coin collecting is all in the budget. but for taking pictures of coins, you should getting anything that would shoot macro.

I would recommend canon's powershot sd-450. It can be purchased for just under 200 and it works great.

Yea that's not really a practical unit for just home coin photos But don't get me wrong as I have 2 20D's & a Rebel XT as my second job is a sports photographer but I need a recomendation for a good macro lense for doing coins, ect.

I am leaning towards purchasing an Olympus C-7000! My friend has one and he can take pics of a 2mm long Gold nugget and they come out looking as if the nugget is big as a house.
