    Type set holder

Is there such a thing as a type set holder? Not an album or book but a hard plastic holder like a mint set holder that will hold an example of each design of a particular type.

For example a holder that will hold a Sacagawea, Susan B., Ike, Peace and Morgan dollar.

Or Kennedy, Franklin, Walking Liberty, Barber halves.

    Ect.

If so, where could I buy them?

    Thanks Copper

Any other less expensive sources. The one's from capital plastice run from $9.95 - $25.00.

I'm all for keeping the coins safe and protected, but $10 for a 2x6 piece of plastic is a bit much.

I did a quick search, and I think you may be out of luck.

Capital plastics stuff is expensive, but they have a good reason. The stuff is higher quality lexan, and they make an unlimited number of selections. The only other typeset holder that I am aware of is year sets from Whitman.

If it is something you will have forever, go for the Capital holders. Nothing besides milling lexan yourself will look as good, last as long or be better suited for denomination type sets. Of course, someone will come along and upset that theory, but its my opinion!
