    Coin Dealers

I am sure that this has been discussed before but maybe I missed it. Is there a way that we can build (all of us) a database with reputable dealers in it? Maybe a star system with feedback? I know there could be legality issues if dealers were to get blasted etc. However if we built the database as a feedback section would that not just be ok? I am so tired of trying dealers on the net only to send back coin after coin for being GROSSLY overgraded. Recently picked up 4 "BU" Franklins from a "dealer" on the bay. Going back. Best I could grade any of them would be AU. I dont want to start a war or even a slamfest. Just a list of dealers that are trustworthy and grade honestly. Moderators??????

There's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing information about "reputable dealers." Nothing negative, just dealers people have had good experiences with. Can't really go wrong here.

I deal with web hosting and a similar issue comes up. People post the good, but more often the bad (who to stay away from). You are permitted to state your honest and true opinion of a service or product (which is not considered libeling). We have gotten emails from providers who have demanded that posts be removed or their team of lawyers will come after us. The bad news is, there's no stopping someone from suing you (just to annoy you), even if they stand no chance at winning. So far, we've gotten a whole bunch of... emails.
