92 S Barber Half in VF. Closing in on the end of this series...
@Race--nice coin! Great to see original Barbers that haven't been dipped or polished to make them look "allegedly better." Congrats on nearing the end of the series!
They are tough dates, even though the mintage isn't all that low. I think it is that Barbers are very popular, and a lot of the "goodies" have been grabbed up over the years, like Liberty Seated halves.
A fantastic colorfully-toned Proof Jefferson that I bought raw off eBay for $10 about 6 weeks ago. Grade came back from PCGS last week as PR65.

I like the color on it, and there are a couple clean steps. With that said, I'm guessing somewhere in the AU55 area, there's just too much wear on the high spots to generate a higher grade. I might be way off base, we'll see what the other experts have to say. I like it though!
I actively collect, buy and sell US minted Philippine coins from 1903-1945. I am interested in anything during this period, Albums, Coin sets, Proof sets, collections, original rolls and bags, books, pictures, Cullion Leper colony coins etc...

No idea what I was doing on this one. I did check the DD variety and it is the one listed in Redbook.. the expensive one in the Cherry pickers guide.
Paid around 70-80 for it I think.... redbook says 350 in PR65... this one is nicely toned in 64.
Good deal.. or nah... ?
