Thanks for the input. I just bought it today and will have to wait a couple of days to get it.

Thanks Brian. Yes there were a few people that told me they thought about buying it -- and one guy on the PCGS board told me he was interested in buying it from me. Parts of the coin has dark toning, which I think scared some people off. I thought it was worth evaluating in hand. The historical aspect of this coin is pretty cool.

    Any thoughts?
Looks like nice luster on the reverse! Maybe it's the photo but it looks like hairlines sweeping across liberty's face and the left field. Have you looked at it closely with a good loupe?

Finally received from Stack's (and Guttag Family) yesterday. Might be the lowest graded Oregon in the auction, but I think the prettiest.

Gorgeous, Rob! That has a very pretty look and appears to have spectacular luster. First class images, as always.

I just bought the coin yesterday and have not seen it up close yet. The cheek marks are the first thing I plan on looking at up close as I am a little concerned about them, however, this coin appears to have an abundance of luster which is contradictory to cleaning. I guess I will just have to wait and see!

    Thanks for the input.

I have been wanting to add one of these to my collection as I have ancestors who came to Oregon in the early 1850's through the 1870's.

That Oregon commem is a beauty and your images are so much more detailed and show that color 1000 times better than the auction images.
