    My 1968-S Lincoln

I looked though a TON of rolls to find this coin. I'm a nut about Memorial cents will full steps and this coin met my standards for quality and having full, complete steps. Browsing the top grades at ha.com I didn't see a single 68-S with full steps. IMO, this coin is truly special.

Sorry to collectors of the future for cracking open probably close to 100 OBW rolls to find this one coin. LOL I actually pulled 4 coins out of the roll I got this from that had full steps. This one was the best of the bunch for eye appeal and grade. I sold the other 3.

Go ahead and give a grade! It looks a lot better in hand. It has absolutely blazing, cartwheel luster.

That one is nice, better than the one I have, which has been upgraded like three times so far. I want to see a 1977 cent with steps that nice.

A couple little rim ticks, some marks in abes jacket I will say it is a 67 or 68, the reverse seems practically flawless.

Not much of a Lincoln fellow, but I enjoy grading and hazarding a guess. Clean fields with a small rim shot by liberty on the obverse. Exquisite mark free reverse other than what looks to be like a hit on the "I" in united......I'd hazard a '65.

    Thanks guys!

Impossible for a 77 to have full steps. The master was worn. I've searched perhaps a thousand 77's and FS examples simply do not exist. Similarily, the 2006 Lincoln cent is pretty much impossible to find with FS. Again, after searching many, I have one that is real, real close.....but not good enough to call FS.

I venture to say finding a 68-S with FS is a very, very difficult task and made a bit harder by being the lowest mintage Memorial cent. I looked a a lot of high grade example on ha.com and NONE of them I saw had FS.

Nice one. Either NGC or PCGS will give that at lest a 66 and my guess is NGC would give it a 67. PCGS about 50/50 between 66 and 67

    Do want.

My 68-S was a roll find... two hits on the steps are the only thing holding it back from having full steps. Fantastic strike.

I really, really love those 1960's high relief cents.

I have a lot to learn, I just told myself to put the memorials away. Then again, if I can find some quality clear cent tube material with clear caps. I might go through the rolls.

based on some the coinfact memorials they have posted. 66 all day long.

this is what PCGS is giving a 65 to.

That is a tough coin to find. I remember when I was kid filling my witman book and that was the last one to find. I must have been through hundreds of dollars of rolls to find one. I think I have about seven in all. It used to frustrate me so much lookin for them because I would find older wheat cents that were much lower mintage.
