Try this....go to the top of the page and there is a blue bar that has some links on it like....Home and Forum and such.....go and click on the one that says Quick Link.....a drop down box will pop up and go down to Subscribed Threads....then it will take you to a page with a list of threads you have posted in.....I think right now my list has something like 800....on the right-hand side of the list is a check box....check them and delete them....(to delete them go to the bottom of the page and there is a button that says delete or something like that).....then see if tomorrow they still come.
The thing I said to do above will take a fw mins....but that is the only thing I can think of....must be a bug in the Forum Program.

I'm very old. Not sure what a Browser Window is, where it is or why it is. So far in the last several days I've gone to the Quick Links at the top, Edit Options and also the one under Control Panel at left then setting & options, edited options, saved and go out, check my email, come back, go out and finally give up.
So far today only one email there. So far so good.
I'd rather go play with rattle smakes than figure out a computer.

Hey Carl
The Browers Window is your internet page.....or the program you are in right now when you are reading this post.

GD, I was able to get them to stop by going into the subscribed threads and deleting the subscriptions for email sent. It has seemed to have stopped them for now.

also, what is the gentlemans name that does the coin engraving. I wanted to go to his website and cant recall his handle on here..

I'm new to the CoinTalk forum, just registered a couple of days ago. But when I registered the first thing I did was set my preferences to no emails (other than those from Admins) and I still got one today about someone "posted a reply to my thread." It could be a bug in the board scripting, maybe.

Guess What? I just read all these posts as emails. I wasn't logged in here, just in my email. I received emails as noted here from tcore, JimM, Speedy, GDJMSP. I went to the bar at the top. Clicked on Quick Link as I have so many times before, went down to Subscribed Threads, clicked on that and it said O, NONE, NOTHING there. Like I said I just read all these and many more as emails and I was NOT logged into this forum. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
And people think it's hard to get rid of a cold.

Hi, Doug explained the issue to me, and I think I have it resolved now.
Let me know if not.
Thanks,
Peter
And that is the message I just found on my email. This forum was not open. I just closed it and went to my email and there it was. Guess nothing works.

You got that email because I sent it to you in response to an email you sent me earlier. It has nothing to do with the forum sending you notifications.
