We've had that discussion before Midas, beat it to death even. But I still enjoy talking to you - always have - so I don't mind repeating myself again

It is my opinion, that the reason PCGS slabbed coins garner higher prices is because collectors have the same mistaken impression that PCGS has tougher grading standards - largely because PCGS hardly ever assigns the 70 grade.

]Well...as they say on "The Factor", we will let the audience (market) descide.

What better indicator than with actual realized prices from the likes of eBay, Heritage,Teletrade and others?
Does the fact that PCGS 70's sell for more than NGC 70's mean PCGS is a more accurate/stricter grader? No. It only means the market perceives PCGS 70's to be more accurately graded (better, if you will) than equivalent NGC 70's.

No, they actually took them from PCGS. I'll leave it to you to figure out what that means if anything.

This thread is a good reason why PCGS coins carry a premium over NGC coins...IMO!!
