I finally got one! Was out with my dad today on my lunch break and we swung by the coinstore. I looked through their Barber quarter bin, and picked out the best New Orleans minted quarter I could find. Honestly, it was one of the better ones in there all together. I specificly went after a New Orleans minted coin because I love having coins from a mint like New Orleans that is no longer minting coins.
Here she is, my first Liberty Head Quarter-Dollar. Now I have one of each demomination: Dime, Quarter, Half, and a V-nickel. By the way, the dark spot you see on Liberty's cap is NOT a hole, but a smudge of some sort.

I have wanted to have these two coins professionally imaged since I bought them last Fall.
They both came from Andy Lustig - and I have coveted them both for years - now, I can
look at them at leisure anytime I am at the bank's safe deposit boxes.

The 1895-O Dime - aside from being the Key Date collectable in that series, is Unique for the date.
The 1898 Quarter - is Unique for the entire Barber Quarter Series - as a Die Cap - Full Reverse Brockage.

Stunning in hand and in the photos. Two very cool coins. Thanks for posting these, Mike.
Those things are amazing - I stare at them for 10 minutes and they don't seem real
One of my newps from Baltimore had a Tru View image attached to it when I registered it ATS:

I just posted a nice newp I landed yesterday - and I got to thinking
why did I buy this coin ? I had a nice VF 30 and last month, I picked up
a beauty of an XF 40.
Well... lets see these three coins side by side... its an edification for myself as well:
PCGS VF 30:
]
PCGS VF 35: {CAC}
PCGS XF 40: It seems as if there is a problem posting too many images on a thread...so... I'll add the XF 40 below:
:
I like them all - but i'll take the one holdered as a 35
