I was looking up how old the holder for my walking Liberty half is and came across a site that said no coin larger than a dime is known in that particular holder. Does that mean my walking Liberty carries a premium?

    heres the site

I believe "Sample Slabs" are just that, and this site does not list all slabs that were used by the various grading services.

Check with Conder101. He has the most extensive records of slabs that I know.

thanks chris, so basically your saying that there are plenty of half dollars in the 1989 holder and the site is pertaining to just samples?

I don't know if you'll find halves in that holder or not, but you apparently have one so I assume you will.

But yes, that site deals only with sample slabs.

As Doug says Cameron's site deals ONLY with sample slabs. There is no actual production slab variety from ANACS that only is found with one denomination. I am not aware of any ANACS production variety slab that can't be found with the full range of denominations.
