41 2009D LP1
8 2009D LP2

It was an average box except for the high amount of 2009 cents.

I was thinking about buying a box of pennies to kill some time this weekend and fill out the slots in my books.. My only question is, do you guys just re roll the coins, add what you took out and take em back to the bank and get your money back??
Jim
Box of pennies: 4 wheats - '41, '49, '53d, 56d
Box of nickels: 1x40, nothing else older than 1960 :-(
Four loose halves: 1x64d; that was about the only good thing today.
How the heck do you get $1000 in Ikes??? I have found only 2 coins in six months.
Had a nice day:
Box of halves:
3 1964
2 1965
3 1968
2 1969
With 10 silver coins, it was my first double digit box since 33 boxes ago.
While dumping my coins at the credit union, I found in the rejected slot a jamacan dollar, a canadian dime, 2 canadian pennies, and a dime from hong kong.
I also searched one roll of nickels and found a 1940.

I need to find some new banks, the tellers around here are getting really weird about buying coins from them, a couple have flat out refused to give me rolls of change more than 2 or 3 in each denomination or the tellers just say they don't have much, banks going broke or what?
Please remember this disclaimer, anything I say cannot be considered gospel,I'm just an amatuer trying to think big!
Went to my bank this afternoon to "color up" on about 25 bucks of mixed refuge and as it turns out they had $64.00 in halves sitting in the coin counter...not what I set out to buy, but what the ****, right?
Ended up with (3) 64's and (21) 65-69; wide spread of dates (70's, 80's, 90's, M's), filled in folders nicely.
