I don't get to search many half dollar rolls and I don't collect any after 1970, but are there certain ones I should look for other than silver, silver clads and proofs? I also wondered if nickels are worth the time to search? thanks Kent

Yes hand rolled. I would post my pics if I knew how to resize the pics.
Picked up some rolls and thought they were already searched as they were in string & son rolls that were opened and folded over on one side. To my surprise I found a silver S mint bicentennial, a 64 and 2X68-D![]()
$2 superstar.
GypsyTears. WOW, great pickups especially 19 Walkers....incredible.
I went to about 7 banks and got 22 bucks of halves with 1 64 and 6 40%ers. Then, one more bank netted me $390 in hand rolled halves. I looked through them and there was nothing except for in one roll......which had 12 40%ers all in a row.
I also got 5 rolls of LP2 and 16 rolls of LP3. I consider it a good weekend!!

Got $13.00 in loose halves, surprised to find this mixed in the middle of the stack.
went to the bank and got $9.50 worth of halves and found the following
1 1981D
1 1982D
Lots of roll searching this past week. Rather discouraging when the box of quarters were mostly rerolls. Did get some to complete P & D Statehood sets. Dimes netted 5 Canadians and not silver. Nickels box was fruitless. 16 rolls left of a box of cents and other than 7 Canadians and 3 wheaties the only other interesting coin is a Hong Kong twenty cent piece dated 1976. Lots of work and time to go thru $900 in rolls. Not discouraged just a wee bit disappointed. Better luck next time, right?
Found 2 silver quarters in the changers at work this morning 1953D and 1957-D!! I also found a gorgeous 1950 PFENNIG in the coin rejection bin at the bank nice little find
And a 1944-D nickel in a roll of nickels
Been a good day searching
i agree to
Didn't get much .Only 14 wheaties. All 40's & 50's except 1 1919. Also 26 LP1 and 59 LP2. It's disappointing when you get more Canadiens (16) than wheaties(14)> Oh well, back to the bank on friday.

2 rolls of nickels.....
1958
1940
and a very ugly 1935 Buffalo!!! The first Buffalo I've ever found on my own (I have many of them from my Dad).
