bobbeth87, see what a good luck wish does! I went to alot of banks today and got 1-1976 chicago star note, a lot of birthday notes, $170 in halves(no silver or upgrades) and close to $100 in Ikes.

Bought a roll of halves from the bank awhile ago and this one here was in it. Seems like someone pulled it out of a Dansco or something like that. I thought it was pretty so I saved it.

The Noost is good luck

Thanks Noost! Your wish worked again.

I picked up a box of halves, and asked if anyone had turned in any. A different teller heard me and said "You can have these....they're pretty ugly though." He dropped 8 halves. I took them.
1 clad
3 67
2 68
2 69.

I'll search the box later, but finding 7, it was already a successful day.

People are dumping there reserve coins just to have money in the bank. A great time to search circulation coins.

1981 was the last full year, but in 1982 they started with both copper and zinc. Thus the 7 business strike Cents for that year. With the coins starting to show their age, they are easier to tell the difference. On the zinc ones watch for the bubbles and the copper cones are a different color.

5 rolls of nickels: 1 59, 1 51, 1 Canadian beaver 5 cent piece (my daughter loved it, gave it to her)
4 rolls of cents: 1 log cabin, 2 formative
1 box of halves: zip

boxes of halves have been very dry lately for me......1 40% in my last 11 boxes (though I found some silver halves in loose change at the bank).....not sure how productive this is.........
