I did another box of nickels and got 2 wars,a Canadian nickel and a UK I think. Does anybody know where is it from it looks good

6 cwr of halves... someones dumps... nothing. 18 cwr of dimes... two Canadian and about 2 bucks short. Lame.

Yeah that's a UK 20p. Nothing special.

$500 box of dimes: Nothing. No silver, no foreign, didn't see any proofs -- even the count was exactly right!

But today wasn't a total loss. When dumping the dimes I searched yesterday one of the tellers asked me why I had all the coins. I said I collect them. She said "Check these out" and pulled out two silver quarters and a silver dime. I offered to buy them off her for a couple dollars each. She said she isn't allowed, but "You can have them if you want them, I want someone to have them that will appreciate them." I sure will!

Also found 51 cents (no silver) in the Coinstar reject tray. Guess I used up all my luck before I got to those dimes! Hope I have some more for tomorrow: A friend and I are splitting a $1000 bag of halves off a coin counter. I also have an order of two boxes of halves coming in. I'm picking one of those up if it arrives early enough to search and dump in time to get to the coin counter bank before they close.

Good bank:
Box 1 = 3 - 40%
Box 2 = skunk

Skunk bank:
Box 3 = skunk
Box 4 = skunk

Not a total loss but definately disapointing. Going to try my hand at dimes today and see if I can run through four boxes.

$20 in Nickels - 44P

I've done 13 BWR Dime Boxes this year and I have yet to score over two dimes in a box. I've done alot of CWR which are feast or famine. I was expecting something from this dime box last night but was somewhat let down. I did find one silver dime but it was so beat that I can even make out the date. Really the only way to tell it's silver is from the sound.

I'm aware there is another searcher in my state that searches HUGE MONSTER volume of half dollars that he obtains from a neighboring state. He does search dime boxes from my state in the order of 8 at a time. He was sent a letter from the US Treasury which I'm sure had something to do with his CRH habits. Maybe he had to cool down on the halves and is doing more dimes which is the reason I'm averaging about 1 per box of $250.

While I wont knock the Honda mentality (they are very reliable), my USA made Cadillac has been running strong for 13 years!

I talked to my friend, who is a so-called "street mechanic" (Think nomadic mechanic who rents a shop space only when he needs one... he makes great money) and he said he might be able to get everything taken care of, including inspection, for $700ish max. So... maybe not so bad after all, but there goes the bonus I was gonna buy a new laptop with.
