The other three rolls didn't yield much. One of the rolls was entirely bi-centennial, mixed grades. I'm thinking that I bought someone's collection.. bittersweet.

Plowing through the last 16 boxes, of 26 total this week of halves.

The last 4 boxes, last night, had 100- 40%ers and a half dozen 1964.

A 1971 proof and a lot of great numismatics including wild MS variations of grease stamps and other BU minor errors. (what do you call the odd stuff?)

I really need to build a light box for pics.

New to this forum, In the last few weeks I have searched through adout $200-250 in pennies. Too many wheaties, 68-74 S's, BU Cents etc. to list. So I will list what I have found that is interesting.

1. 1968 S Heavy doubling of entire date
looks almost identical to the example 2/3 the way down this page. http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/1...ledDieCent.htm

2. 1970 S medium doubling south/southwest of the 970 on the date

3. 1999 "P" minor- medium doubling southwest of "ONE CENT" of the reverse

4 1990 "P" minor doubling of TED STATES towards to rim of the coin

I can find no information of these on coppercoins.com , conecaonline.org , lincolncentresource.com or the Web in gerenal.

It's because that kind of doubling is considered to be damage, not the doubled die. This was supposed to be a reply to post # 1830, "I can find no information of these on coppercoins.com , conecaonline.org , lincolncentresource.com or the Web in gerenal."

Finished a box of halves. It has been my first one in a few weeks, and I must say one of my best ones in a while. I found three 1968 D halves in it.

I go through rolls of nickels at work all the time and have never found one to be in a roll just when customers give change. Believe me I go through a lot of change.
