We have to suffer through ten years of rotating dollar coins commemortating Presidents not worthy of even discussing? And we get TWO for Grover Clevland Alexander.
This is not going to help adapt a dollar coin. Nothing short of elimintating the one dollar bill, or making a silver 1 dollar coin of apropriate size is going to make the public give up on the paper dollar.
If they want to improve the currency, let them eliminate the penny and the one dollar bill, produce $500 bills again, and make a 10 dollar coin about the size of a silver eagle. And if not silver, let them make it out of something less crapy than the aluminum foil chads they've been using. In fact, they can eliminate the penny and the nickle.
There is a reason why this stuff is called change today. Its just a nusense all this worthless coinage. People in retail outlets are begging to get rid of their pennies already.
